The idea

Two wrestlers lock into a single point of tension — strength measured in the moment neither will yield. The image explores competition as a test of judgement and endurance as well as strength.

Where it works
  • Magazine opener on wrestling technique.
  • Podcast cover for a discussion of competitive mindset.
  • Newsletter feature previewing a combat sports event.
