FAQ
Can I keep my agent?
Yes. The arrangement concerns the artworks accepted for IlluStars; it does not prevent you from keeping an agent or taking commissions.
What about works already on stock sites?
Tell me where they are in your application. An accepted artwork needs to be licensable only on Illustar during its term, so an existing listing would need to be removed before release.
Do you take a whole portfolio?
No. I select works one by one and plan each release as a coherent series of at least six works.
How do payments work?
Your share is reported monthly. The payment method and any transfer costs, including those outside SEPA, are set out in the full artist agreement before you sign.
What happens when a customer uses a credit pack?
Credit pack redemptions are accounted for separately under the full artist agreement. The artist share for those redemptions is 40% of net revenue.
Who writes the texts?
I introduce each release on the Journal. Your name appears beside each work, and the newsletter carries a guest author note.
