Voluntary accessibility commitment

Illustar aims to make its website and digital services usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies. This page is a statement of commitment, not a technical certification of compliance.

Our commitment

Progressively improve keyboard navigation, heading structure and focus order.
Use readable colour contrast, resizable text, clear labels and understandable error messages.
Provide useful alternative text for functional images and previews, taking into account the visual nature of the catalogue.
Review forms, customer accounts, the wishlist, cart, checkout and downloads with assistive technologies.
Avoid flashing content and, where applicable, animations that users cannot pause or control.
Consider accessibility when updating the theme or installing new applications and integrations.

Known limitations

Because a full accessibility audit has not yet been completed, unidentified barriers may exist, particularly in Shopify or third-party components, catalogue filters, the wishlist, checkout, customer accounts and multimedia content.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need information in an alternative format, email support@illustar.art and state the relevant page, device, browser, assistive technology and the outcome you need. Illustar aims to respond within 2-3 days and will seek a reasonable solution.
